Turtles in the ODK Fountain on Maryland Day

After 20 years of Fun at the Fountain, ODK is still going strong at Maryland’s annual community open house. Maryland Day is a festive, full-day showcase of all of the things that make UMD so wonderful. And when guests set foot on McKeldin Mall, they’re greeted by thousands of colorful turtles floating in the ODK Fountain.

It’s an annual tradition met with joy and excitement by family and friends in our community. Occasionally, though, it’s not so joyful for the parents of our littlest Terps when they “accidentally” fall in to the Fountain. Everyone still manages to have a good time regardless.

Thanks, as always, to our good friends and members of ODK, Bob and Sue Goldberg, and the National Association of Realtors for donating the red and gold turtles for our event.

And, thanks to everyone who stopped by to enjoy Fun at the Fountain on Maryland Day!
